Objectives and Significance

The organisers state that chronic pain is a growing public‑health challenge in India, with many patients experiencing delayed diagnosis, limited specialist access, low awareness, and reliance on repeated medication or surgery. ICRAPAIN 2026 aims to promote advanced, evidence‑based, minimally invasive, patient‑centred pain management, provide practical skills and mentorship, foster international collaboration, and help young clinicians view pain medicine as an independent, rapidly evolving specialty. The conference is positioned to strengthen India’s role as a hub for education, research, and innovation in pain medicine across South Asia.

Target Audience

The event is targeted at Indian doctors including anesthesiologists, pain medicine and rehabilitation specialists, orthopaedicians, neurologists, rheumatologists, general practitioners with an interest in pain, and postgraduate students.
