The Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, along with its affiliated organizations, will conduct Special Campaign 6.0 from October 2 to October 31, 2026. The campaign involves the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA), seven National Institutes of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPERs), Pharmaceutical & Medical Devices Bureau of India (PMBI), and three Public Sector Undertakings: Bengal Chemical & Pharmaceutical Ltd. (BCPL), Hindustan Antibiotics Limited (HAL), and Karnataka Antibiotics And Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (KAPL).

The initiative aims to institutionalize Swachhata culture and streamline government functioning by eliminating office pendency. The campaign is structured in two operational phases: a preparatory phase from September 15-30, 2026 for identification of target sites, pendency auditing, and e-waste mapping, followed by an implementation phase from October 2-31, 2026 for execution of cleanliness drives, scrap disposal, and grievance redressal.

Key focus areas include e-waste management with safe collection, segregation, and disposal of electronic scrap in accordance with E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022. The campaign also emphasizes accelerated disposal of pending MP References, State Government Communications, PMO References, Parliamentary Assurances, Public Grievances, and CPGRAMS Appeals. Field office outreach involves active participation from field offices, PSUs and NIPERs to conduct outdoor cleanliness drives, office beautification, and sustainability drives. Through these measures, the Department reaffirms its commitment to transparent governance, efficient public service delivery and sustainable office management.
