The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) will celebrate its 74th Foundation Day in New Delhi on November 1, 2026, with Union Minister for Labour & Employment and Youth Affairs & Sports, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, inaugurating the event. The celebration will be attended by senior officials of the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Members of the Central Board of Trustees, EPFO officers and employees, employers, workers, and other stakeholders.
Dr. Mandaviya will launch key EPFO initiatives including the Automatic Settlement of Eligible Inoperative EPF Accounts with balances up to ₹1,000 and EPFO Services through WhatsApp. The Minister will also review exhibition stalls and release publications reflecting EPFO's commitment to knowledge creation, institutional learning, legal awareness, and compassionate governance.
The proceedings will include the presentation of Bhavishya Nidhi Awards 2026 to recognize outstanding contributions by Regional Offices, Zonal Offices, and individual officers and employees. The Foundation Day celebration aims to reaffirm EPFO's continuing commitment to ensuring that workers' years of labor translate into security, dignity, and peace of mind for workers and their families.
