On June 30, 2026, the 13th edition of ET Edge SCM Fest 2026 concluded after two days of conferences, exhibitions and awards at the Taj Palace in New Delhi. The summit attracted more than 1,250 delegates representing manufacturing, logistics, procurement, healthcare, infrastructure, retail and technology sectors.

Key Speakers and Government Vision

The opening address was delivered by Arvind Bhandari, Chairman & Managing Director of Goodyear India, who highlighted India’s potential to become a trusted global manufacturing and supply‑chain hub. Union Cabinet Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Rural Development, outlined the government’s plan to strengthen agricultural supply chains, improve food security and position India as a reliable partner in global food systems. Bihar’s Minister of Industries & Sports, Shreyasi Singh, showcased the state’s expanding industrial and logistics infrastructure, emphasizing the role of regional manufacturing hubs in India’s economic transformation.

Notable Sessions Beyond Traditional Topics

A spotlight session examined the coordination required for organ‑transplant logistics, where more than fifty healthcare professionals manage narrow biological windows to save lives. Former RBI Deputy Governor M. Rajeshwar Rao provided insight into India’s currency supply chain, describing the secure, highly coordinated network that underpins physical cash distribution. A candid conversation with BigBasket illustrated the challenges of last‑mile delivery, including traffic, weather, safety and customer expectations.

Thematic Discussions

The Micro Stage featured leaders from food and agriculture, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, e‑commerce, logistics and warehousing. Topics covered AI‑enabled demand sensing, digital procurement, localisation, sustainable logistics, supply‑chain visibility, resilient supplier ecosystems and the impact of viral social‑media trends that can abruptly shift demand for products such as a dairy item.
