The Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA), the apex national body of automobile retail in India, announced leadership changes during its 323rd Governing Council Meeting held after the 62nd Annual General Meeting. Mr. Sai Giridhar, Managing Director of Saisha Motors Pvt. Ltd. based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, was appointed as FADA's 38th President for the term 2026-28. Giridhar has over 30 years of experience in the automobile business and operates dealerships for Skoda, Volvo Cars, JSW MG Motors and MG Select.

The Governing Council also elevated three other office bearers: Mr. Amar Jatin Sheth, Managing Director of Group Shaman (dealer for Honda Cars, Volkswagen and Triumph) based in Mumbai, as Vice President; Mr. Pradeep Agarwal, Managing Partner of JMG Group (dealer of Hero MotoCorp & Ather) based in Cuttack & Bhubaneshwar, Odisha, as Secretary; and Mr. Bharat Kumar Chordia, Managing Director of Khivraj Motors Pvt. Ltd. based in Chennai, as Treasurer, all for the term 2026-28.

Outgoing President Mr. C S Vigneshwar highlighted FADA's achievements during his tenure, noting that retail data has become central to industry planning and that FADA's voice now reaches government corridors where it is actively consulted rather than merely seeking hearings. He expressed confidence in handing over leadership to Mr. Giridhar.

In his acceptance remarks, Mr. Giridhar emphasized his commitment to ensuring every dealer feels represented by FADA, strengthening OEM-dealer relationships, improving dealership viability and profitability, and preparing businesses for future changes. He also stressed the importance of making automobile retail an attractive career path and recognizing dealers as the first point of trust in customers' mobility journeys.

FADA, founded in 1964, represents over 15,000 automobile dealerships with more than 30,000 dealership outlets across India, employing approximately 5 million people. The organization engages with central and state authorities on auto policy, taxation, vehicle registration procedures, road safety, and environmental matters to support the growth of automobile retail trade in India.
