FADA Reports FY'26 Auto Retail Hits Record 2.97 Cr Units, Up 13.3%

FY'26 vehicle retail reached a record 2.97 crore units, growing 13.3% YoY, with five of six vehicle categories setting all-time high sales.
March 2026 retail surged 25.3% YoY to 26.9 lakh units, led by strong growth in two-wheelers (28.7% YoY) and passenger vehicles (21.5% YoY).
Electric vehicle share grew significantly, with 3W EVs at 60.95%, 2W EVs at 6.54%, and PV EVs at 4.25% for FY'26.
Dealer outlook for FY'27 remains positive with 74.7% expecting growth, though near-term concerns include supply disruptions and fuel prices.
