National CVD Summit 2026 Overview

Tricog Health India Pvt. Ltd., an AI‑powered cardiac‑care firm founded in 2014 by interventional cardiologist Dr Charit Bhograj, will co‑host the National Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) Summit 2026 with the Directorate of Health Services, Government of Goa. The three‑day event is scheduled for 25‑27 September 2026 at Elements by Rosetta, Goa, and is inaugurated on 26 September by Hon’ble Shri Vishwajit Rane, Minister for Health, Government of Goa.

Objectives and Scope

The summit aims to move beyond scientific discussion to concrete implementation across the full continuum of cardiovascular care—early detection, emergency response, and long‑term management. Outcomes will be distilled into a formal recommendation document for submission to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW).

Key Participants and Sessions

  • Senior representatives from the Government of Goa, the Union Government, NITI Aayog, leading clinicians and public‑health experts will attend the inaugural session.
  • Dr C. N. Manjunath, Member of Parliament and former Director of the Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research, will deliver the keynote address titled “Cardiovascular Care in India.”
  • A dedicated session will compare state‑led STEMI (ST‑elevation myocardial infarction) programmes in Goa, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Odisha, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Punjab, examining hub‑and‑spoke models and scalability.
  • The scientific committee, chaired by Wing Commander (Dr.) S. S. Iyengar, Consultant Cardiologist at Manipal Hospital, Bengaluru, will oversee expert panels covering disease burden, paediatric heart‑disease screening, women’s cardiac health, AI in diagnosis and treatment, state‑level implementation strategies, and the rising challenge of heart failure.
  • Each core session will conclude with chair‑summarised recommendations, and a closed‑door final day session will consolidate these into a formal document for the MoHFW.

Tricog Health Platform Impact

Tricog’s AI platform has screened more than 40 million patients, identified over 500 000 heart attacks and flagged nearly 1.5 million critical ECG findings. The technology currently supports over 12 000 customers across more than 15 000 installations, including hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centres and public‑health programmes. Tricog has previously partnered with state governments on large‑scale cardiac‑care initiatives, notably Goa’s STEMI response network.

The summit is positioned to generate actionable policy recommendations that could shape national cardiovascular‑care strategies, promote scaling of successful state programmes, and integrate AI‑driven diagnostics into public‑health frameworks.
