GSV and DGCA Sign MoU to Revamp Aircraft Maintenance Training

Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya and DGCA signed an MoU to develop a 3-year B.Sc. program in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME).
The program aims to standardize AME education, enhance quality benchmarks, and create a skilled workforce for India's aviation sector.
A Centre of Excellence for manufacturing technologies will be established, aiming to benefit 1,000 students annually.
The program will be piloted in the 2026-27 academic year at select institutions including GMR School of Aviation and Air India AME Academy.
