• The Department of Fisheries approved Rs 760.87 crore for Haryana's fisheries development under PMMSY from 2020-21 to 2024-25, with a central share of Rs 262.16 crore.
• Key infrastructure built includes 3766 ha of new ponds, 166 fish kiosks, 130 RAS units, 326 Biofloc units, 11 hatcheries, 48 feed mills, and 23 cold storage units.
• Financial assistance of Rs 514.51 lakh and Rs 1151.95 lakh was provided to fish farmers in Hisar and Karnal districts, generating employment and increasing farmer incomes.
