India Blockchain Week 2026 Conference Announcement
On August 26, 2026, a press release issued from Mumbai announced that India Blockchain Week (IBW) – the country’s flagship blockchain and Web3 conference – will hold its fourth edition on 1‑2 November 2026 at the Fairmont Mumbai. The event is hosted by Hashed Emergent, the venture‑capital arm of Hashed, described as India’s most active Web3 VC firm.
The two‑day conference will convene founders, developers, investors, enterprises, policymakers and ecosystem leaders from India and abroad, positioning itself ahead of the global Devcon event. A key development for the 2026 edition is the launch of two new invite‑only sub‑forums:
- Institutional Forum – targeted at senior leaders from banks, financial institutions, enterprises, regulators and policymakers to discuss real‑world blockchain applications and emerging opportunities within the financial and business ecosystem.
- Future Asset Forum – dedicated to exploring how artificial intelligence is generating new classes of digital assets and how blockchain‑based tokenisation can integrate these assets with traditional finance.
Tak Lee, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Hashed Emergent, stated that India has firmly established itself as a leading Web3 ecosystem, with developers, founders and builders playing a central role. He added that as the industry matures, IBW will bring together the entire Web3 value chain under one roof, and the new sub‑forums reflect the continued evolution of the ecosystem in India.
The conference program will feature keynote sessions, fireside chats and panel discussions covering infrastructure, decentralized finance, tokenisation, AI, digital identity, consumer applications, developer ecosystems and emerging blockchain use cases. Additional networking experiences, startup showcases and community‑led events will be spread throughout the week.
The previous edition of IBW attracted more than 3,500 attendees and showcased influential speakers such as Ethereum co‑founder Vitalik Buterin, Base founder Jesse Pollak, Polygon co‑founder Sandeep Nailwal, Eigen Labs CEO Sreeram Kannan and Aptos Labs co‑founder and CEO Avery Ching. Sponsorship for that edition came from a range of global and Indian blockchain firms, including Aptos Foundation, Binance, Cardano, Polygon, Coinbase, Tether, Bitget, Ledger, Avalanche, Bybit, CoinSwitch, BitGo, XDC, Starknet, Supra, NEAR Protocol, Sui, Liminal and Pi42.
