Project Inauguration

On Monday, July 6, 2026, Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Ltd (HURL) and The Art of Living Social Projects signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the Art of Living International Center in Bengaluru, in the presence of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, to launch Project SWASTHYA KIRAN at the Sri Sri College of Ayurvedic Science and Research Hospital (SSCASRH) in Cuttack, Odisha.

Diagnostic Upgrade

The project commissioned a state‑of‑the‑art Revolution™ Aspire Select CT scanner, expanding SSCASRH’s capability to perform advanced imaging for neurology, cardiology, oncology, trauma care and emergency medicine.

Expected Benefits

The initiative is expected to reduce patient travel distances and waiting times, make high‑quality CT scanning more affordable for rural and underserved communities, and strengthen emergency response for conditions such as stroke, trauma and cancer, potentially benefiting thousands of patients each year.

Strategic Significance

By bringing advanced diagnostic services closer to the community, the partnership addresses a critical gap in Odisha’s healthcare infrastructure, improving timely diagnosis and treatment outcomes.
