Project SWASTHYA KIRAN Inauguration

On Monday, July 6, 2026, Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Ltd. (HURL) and The Art of Living Social Projects formally inaugurated Project SWASTHYA KIRAN at the Sri Sri College of Ayurvedic Science and Research Hospital (SSCASRH) in Cuttack, Odisha. The partnership was cemented through a Memorandum of Understanding signed at the Art of Living International Center in Bengaluru, with Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar present at the ceremony.

Diagnostic Upgrade

The core of the project is the commissioning of a state‑of‑the‑art Revolution™ Aspire Select CT scanner. This equipment expands SSCASRH’s diagnostic capacity across multiple specialties, including neurology, cardiology, oncology, trauma care and emergency medicine, enabling faster and more precise imaging for critical conditions such as stroke, severe injuries and cancer.

Expected Benefits

The initiative is designed to improve timely access to diagnostics by reducing the need for patients from Cuttack and surrounding villages to travel long distances for CT scans, thereby cutting waiting times and associated costs. By providing high‑quality CT scanning services locally, the project aims to make advanced diagnostics more affordable for rural and underserved communities and to strengthen emergency care through quicker, more accurate diagnoses, ultimately improving patient outcomes for life‑threatening conditions.

Community Impact

Project SWASTHYA KIRAN is positioned as an investment in healthier communities, aligning with the shared vision of HURL and The Art of Living to bring quality healthcare closer to those who need it most. The enhanced imaging capability is expected to benefit thousands of patients each year, supporting clinicians in making informed treatment decisions and reinforcing SSCASRH’s role as a pivotal healthcare institution in the region.
