The Indian Air Force is organizing the 7th edition of the Marshal of the Air Force Arjan Singh Memorial Hockey Tournament from June 23 to July 3, 2026, at Air Force Station Jalahalli in Bengaluru. The tournament, which has been organized by the Air Force Sports Control Board (AFSCB) since 2018, honors the legacy of Marshal Arjan Singh and his passion for hockey, recognizing him as an inspiration to air warriors in both war and sports.

A total of 16 teams will participate in the tournament, with matches played on a league-cum-knockout basis at the Hockey Stadium, Air Force Station Jalahalli. The prize money structure includes ₹10,00,000 for the winner, ₹8,00,000 for the runners-up, ₹25,000 for each Man of the Match award, and ₹50,000 for the Player of the Tournament, bringing the total prize pool to ₹18,75,000 (assuming all match awards are distributed).

Air Marshal S Sivakumar, VSM, Air Officer-in-Charge Administration, will serve as the Chief Guest during both the press conference and the opening ceremony on June 23, 2026. Air Marshal Seethepalli Shrinivas, PVSM, AVSM, VSM, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Training Command, will preside over the closing ceremony on July 3, 2026. The Indian Air Force notes its consistent production of athletes who have represented India at international competitions.
