The Indian Council of Agricultural Research–Central Institute for Research on Buffaloes (ICAR-CIRB), Hisar, organized a Swachhata Samvad on 24 September 2026 as part of the ongoing Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 campaign under the theme "Swachhta Mein Sahbhag – Swachh Bharat, Viksit Bharat." The event was conducted according to the Day-VIII action plan and aimed to promote cleanliness, awareness, and active participation among contractual staff and Young Professionals while encouraging a clean and hygienic workplace. Approximately 20 participants attended the interactive program, which focused on practical cleanliness issues in homes, workplaces, and surrounding areas through open discussion rather than conventional lectures. Key discussion topics included preventing littering, responsible waste disposal, reduction and proper use of plastic, waste segregation, and adoption of sustainable cleanliness practices. The program emphasized that cleanliness represents a shared social responsibility requiring consistent behavioral changes and Jan Bhagidari (public participation). Participants concluded with a collective commitment to promote cleanliness, responsible waste management, and sustainable habits in their respective surroundings, reflecting the spirit of collaborative participation toward a cleaner and healthier society.
