ICRAPAIN 2026 Conference Overview
ICRAPAIN 2026 – the International Conference on Recent Advances in Pain – is scheduled to take place in Kolkata, West Bengal, in September 2026. The main conference will be conducted on 4th and 5th September 2026 at Vedic Village, Kolkata. A pre‑conference workshop will be held on 3 September 2026 and a post‑conference workshop on 6 September 2026, both at Daradia: The Pain Clinic, New Town, Kolkata.
The conference is organized by the Daradia Pain Foundation in association with Daradia: The Pain Clinic. It is expected to bring together more than 50 international faculty members representing 20 countries, including leading pain physicians, researchers, young clinicians, and industry innovators. The scientific programme will feature expert lectures, panel discussions, academic debates, live demonstrations, and focused workshops.
Key thematic areas to be covered include interventional pain practice, ultrasound‑guided interventions, C‑arm‑guided spine procedures, regenerative therapies such as PRP, BMAC, MFAT, Nanofat and SVF, radiofrequency techniques, cryoneurolysis, neuromodulation, cancer pain management, neuropathic pain, and the application of artificial intelligence in future pain care. The conference aims to address the growing public‑health challenge of chronic pain in India by promoting advanced, evidence‑based, minimally invasive, and patient‑centred pain management approaches.
Target participants are Indian doctors across specialties – anesthesiologists, pain medicine and rehabilitation specialists, orthopaedicians, neurologists, rheumatologists, general practitioners with an interest in pain, and postgraduate students. The event is positioned as a platform to shape the future of Pain Medicine in India and South Asia, fostering practical skills, academic mentorship, international collaboration, and helping young doctors view Pain Medicine as an independent, rapidly evolving specialty.
The organizers state that the conference will strengthen India’s role as a growing hub for education, research, and innovation in Pain Medicine.
