Market Outlook
India's fire‑protection systems market is projected by Grand View Research to reach approximately Rs 42,000 crore by 2033, up from an estimated Rs 20,600 crore in 2026. The market was valued at roughly Rs 19,500 crore in 2025 and is expected to expand at a compound annual growth rate of 10.7 % between 2026 and 2033. Growth drivers cited include rapid urbanisation, accelerating industrialisation, extensive infrastructure development, evolving safety requirements, and increasing adoption of advanced fire detection, prevention and suppression technologies. In 2025, India accounted for about 2.3 % of the global fire‑protection systems market, positioning the country as a high‑growth market within the Asia‑Pacific region.
Fire & Security India Expo 2026 (FSIE 2026)
The 9th edition of the Fire & Security India Expo (FSIE) 2026 will be held from 3 to 5 September 2026 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. The event is jointly organised by the Fire & Security Association of India (FSAI) and Nova Exhibitions and Conferences. FSIE 2026 will host more than 160 brands, feature over 70 speakers, include 14 affiliations, conduct 15 technical sessions, and attract upwards of 1,000 decision‑makers from sectors such as fire protection, life safety, building automation, emergency response, security and surveillance.
A representative of FSAI stated that the expo aligns with the vision “Surakshit Bharat – Safe & Secure India,” aiming to foster collaboration, awareness and innovation across the fire, life‑safety and security ecosystem. Nova Exhibitions and Conferences added that the exhibition is intended to be a meaningful industry platform rather than a simple product marketplace, bringing together stakeholders, emerging technologies and knowledge to address the needs of a rapidly evolving industry.
Government Support
The Maharashtra Government and its Urban Development Department (Maha UDD) are supporting FSIE 2026, underscoring the state’s commitment to advancing fire safety, emergency preparedness and resilient infrastructure. The support highlights the importance of stronger collaboration between government, industry and technical experts to raise safety standards and build a safer, more resilient Maharashtra.
