Substantive agreements were reached on multiple fronts: India will increase Mekong Ganga ICCR scholarships for Myanmar students from 36 to 100 annually starting 2026. Both nations committed to enhancing bilateral trade through the Rupee-Kyat settlement mechanism, noting steady growth in transaction volumes since its operationalization in May 2024. Specific sectors identified for closer cooperation include agro-processing, petroleum, energy, and mining sectors, operating within respective national laws.

Infrastructure connectivity received significant emphasis, with both sides prioritizing completion of the Kaladan Multi-Modal Transit Transport project and the India-Myanmar-Thailand trilateral highway to foster regional economic linkages and shared prosperity.

On security matters, India reaffirmed support for Myanmar's sovereignty and territorial integrity. Myanmar provided assurance that its territory would not be permitted for activities against India's security interests, with both sides committing to prevent misuse of sovereign territory for inimical activities. India expressed support for Myanmar-led efforts toward peace, stability, national reconciliation, and socio-economic development.
