India Nifty Up 0.76% Led by ITC

Nifty 50 closed up 0.76% and Sensex rose 0.79% as Indian equities ended higher at the day's close.
Top gainers were ITC (+3.79% to 316), Tech Mahindra (+3.31% to 1,454.70) and IndusInd Bank (+3.10% to 913).
Top losers included Dr Reddy’s (-1.74% to 1,331), NTPC (-1.66% to 400.10) and ICICI Bank (-0.97% to 1,279.50).
India VIX fell 3.88% to 17.35; crude oil rose to $103.26, gold slipped to $4,586.44, USD/INR at 94.85.
