India Post Inaugurates 100th N-Gen Post Office at NEHU Shillong

Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia virtually inaugurated India Post's 100th N-Gen Post Office at North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong.
The youth-centric facility offers free Wi-Fi, QR-based booking systems, and concessional parcel services for students.
This all-women-led post office uses indigenous materials like bamboo and represents a nationwide modernization initiative.
The N-Gen initiative has expanded to 100 locations across IITs, IIMs, NITs, and universities in just six months.
