Overview
On 15 October 2026, the BKT Tyres 24th Construction World Global Awards ceremony was held at Aurika, Mumbai International Airport as part of the India Construction Festival 2026. The event recognised 45 honours across company rankings, nominated categories and individual recognitions, and unveiled the 30th edition of the Construction World Annual themed “Infrastructure Reset”.
Evaluation Methodology
The fastest‑growing construction companies were assessed on a six‑year financial track record followed by a jury review of qualitative parameters such as governance, business strategy, resilience, management capability and quality of growth. This year’s methodology placed greater weight on cash profits relative to operating revenue, reflecting the view that cash generation enables equipment investment, delayed‑payment management, shock absorption and disciplined project selection.
Key Industry Insights
Pratap Padode, Founder and Editor‑in‑Chief of ASAPP Info Global Group, highlighted sector challenges including rising labour and input costs, slower road award pipelines, cautious private investment and project delays. He stressed that technology must be underpinned by sound project preparation and rational procurement, and called for stronger project pipelines, deeper private investment and greater international competitiveness for Indian construction and design firms.
