India's NPS and APY Reach 2.17Cr and 8.96Cr Subscribers

India's National Pension System (NPS) has 2.17 crore subscribers with ₹15.95 lakh crore AUM as of 31.3.2026.
Atal Pension Yojana (APY) reached 8.96 crore enrolments with ₹51.4 thousand crore assets under management.
Unified Pension Scheme (UPS) introduced from 1st April 2025 offers assured payout of ₹10,000 minimum monthly pension.
Employees' Pension Scheme (EPS) expanded to 7.98 crore members while social pensions cover 2.92 crore central beneficiaries.
