India's Ports Ministry Sets 2030 Green Targets, 180 Projects Approved

The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways announced 180 projects for port modernization and green initiatives over the last two fiscal years.
Three major ports have been designated as Green Hydrogen Hubs, and the ministry has set 2030 targets for renewable energy, equipment electrification, and emission reductions.
Key 2030 targets include over 60% renewable energy use, 50% port equipment electrification, and 30% reduction in CO2 emissions per cargo ton.
