The Ministry of Ports has launched green initiatives including a Green Tug Transition Programme and renewable energy adoption at ports.
Around 180 projects for port modernization and green ports were approved in the last two financial years.
The Ministry has set 2030 targets for renewable energy, equipment electrification, and CO2 and water use reduction.
