India's total textile exports grew 2.1% to ₹3,16,334.9 crore in FY 2025–26 from ₹3,09,859.3 crore previous year.
Ready-Made Garments remained largest contributor with 2.9% growth to ₹1,39,349.6 crore, while handicrafts showed strongest growth at 6.1%.
Export growth observed in over 120 destinations including UAE (22.3%), UK (7.8%), Germany (9.9%), and several African markets with Nigeria (21.4%) and Senegal (54.4%).
Government extended RoSCTL and RoDTEP schemes beyond March 2026 and concluded multiple FTAs including with EU, UK, and EFTA to improve market access.
