Indian Railways has approved the introduction of a new daily train service between Kanpur Central and Anand Vihar Terminal, providing overnight rail connectivity between Kanpur and Delhi. The service will operate as Train No. 14153/14154 Kanpur Central-Anand Vihar (T)-Kanpur Central Mail on a daily basis.
Train No. 14153 will depart from Kanpur Central at 20:40 hours and reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 04:50 hours the next morning, covering the journey in 8 hours and 10 minutes. In the return direction, Train No. 14154 will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal at 23:25 hours and arrive at Kanpur Central at 07:25 hours, completing the journey in 8 hours. The service covers a distance of 428 kilometers in both directions.
The new train will make eight commercial stoppages at Phaphund, Etawah, Tundla, Hathras, Aligarh, Khurja, Dadri, and Ghaziabad. This daily overnight service enhances passenger connectivity between Kanpur and the National Capital Region, providing convenient timings in both directions and facilitating movement between key stations including Kanpur, Etawah, Aligarh, Ghaziabad, and the Delhi region.
