Indian Railways Plans 18,262 Summer Special Trains

Indian Railways plans 18,262 special train trips during peak summer travel period from 15 April to 15 July 2026.
As of review date, 11,878 trains have been notified with remaining trains being notified for passenger benefit.
Western Railway implemented real-time crowd management and improved boarding processes at Udhna station for specific trains.
Focus areas include high-demand stations: New Delhi, Mumbai (LTT, CSMT, Pune), Surat (Udhna), Amdavad, and Bangalore.
