Iran deputy minister Kazem Gharibabadi warned France and Britain of a decisive, immediate response if their warships join US forces in Hormuz.
The warning follows France sending carrier Charles de Gaulle to the Red Sea for a mission with Britain to protect Hormuz navigation.
Iran claims sole authority to secure the strait, calling the deployment illegal militarization and saying the waterway isn’t extra‑regional property.
