A Karnataka delegation from the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Dharwad visited Rajasthan from June 9-12, 2026, as part of Yuva Sangam Phase VI under the Ministry of Education's Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat programme. The delegation was hosted by Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Jaipur for an educational and cultural immersion experience.

On June 9, 2026, the delegates interacted with the Governor of Rajasthan, Shri Haribhau Kisanrao Bagde at Lok Bhavan, Jaipur. The Governor encouraged participants to embrace India's cultural diversity, contribute to nation-building, and serve as ambassadors of national unity. He emphasized the importance of youth engagement in strengthening social harmony and promoting mutual understanding across regions.

The delegation explored Rajasthan's iconic heritage and cultural landmarks, gaining exposure to the state's historical legacy, architectural grandeur, and vibrant traditions through cultural performances, interactions with local artists, and traditional crafts. Academically, the delegates visited research facilities at MNIT Jaipur, interacting with faculty, researchers, and students to understand ongoing innovations, research initiatives, entrepreneurship activities, and advancements in science and technology.

The Yuva Sangam initiative, launched by the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, aims to foster national integration and strengthen people-to-people connections among youth from 22 paired States and Union Territories. The program provides opportunities to engage with India's diverse cultural traditions, educational institutions, innovation landscapes, and developmental initiatives.
