Doctors at KIMSHEALTH performed an emergency radiofrequency ventricular tachycardia (VT) ablation followed by an advanced epicardial ablation on a 57‑year‑old patient suffering a VT storm, which caused repeated cardiac arrests.
The procedures eliminated the abnormal electrical pathways, stopped the cardiac arrests, and provided complete relief from symptoms.
The patient was discharged in stable condition after a week‑long hospital stay. The cardiac team was led by Dr. Anees Thajudeen, Senior Consultant, Cardiology, with Dr. Subash S (Consultant) and Dr. Hari Dev JJ (Associate Consultant, cardiac anesthesia) supporting the treatment.
