The Legislative Department of the Ministry of Law and Justice organized a workshop titled 'Best out of Waste - Turning Waste into Wonder: Kabad Se Jugad' on September 29, 2026, at the Conference Hall of Kartavya Bhawan-2. The event was conducted as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva initiative and featured experts from India Aids (NGO) and N.K. Bagrodia Public School, Dwarka, Sector-4.
Key participants included Smt. Archana Srivastava (General Secretary, India Aids), Ms. Anjali Kharbanda (Principal, N.K. Bagrodia Public School), along with faculty members and alumni volunteers. The workshop was chaired by Shri G. Panmei, Joint Secretary & Legislative Counsel, with participation from senior officers, staff members, and attached offices including the Official Language Wing and Vidhi Sahitya Prakashan.
During the workshop, experts demonstrated creative methods to transform waste and discarded materials into useful products through hands-on demonstrations. The session focused on practical ideas for repurposing materials typically considered waste, showcasing how innovation and resourcefulness can convert discarded items into functional articles. The initiative emphasized the importance of reusing available materials and adopting environmentally responsible practices.
The workshop concluded with a message promoting responsible waste management, recycling, and sustainable living. Shri Panmei emphasized adopting innovative sustainable practices in daily life and encouraged participants to explore creative ways of optimizing waste material usage. He highlighted that consistent efforts toward reuse and recycling can contribute meaningfully to environmental cleanliness.
