Lok Sabha Speaker Inaugurates CPA Zone VII Conference

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla inaugurated the First CPA India Region Zone VII Conference in Goa on April 9, 2026.
Birla urged lawmakers to prioritize public welfare, integrity, and transparent governance to achieve Viksit Bharat by 2047.
He emphasized the role of young legislators in driving inclusive development and leveraging technology while maintaining human sensitivity.
The conference included participation from state legislative leaders from Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Goa.
