Union Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya led the 91st edition of 'Sundays on Cycle' at Meijō Park in Nagoya, Japan on September 20, 2026, rallying members of the Indian diaspora to support and encourage the Indian contingent participating in Asian Games 2026. The event reflected the Government of India's efforts to strengthen people-to-people connect with the Indian diaspora through sports while reinforcing the message of fitness and healthy living under the Fit India Movement.

Dr. Mandaviya interacted with participants and noted that India has a contingent of over 500 young athletes participating in the Games. The Indian community in Nagoya came together through the cycling event to 'Cheer for Bharat' and boost the morale of the athletes. The minister stated that the Indian contingent is performing well and the diaspora is working hard to boost their morale.

The Fit India Sundays on Cycle is organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports in collaboration with the Cycling Federation of India, Raahgiri Foundation, and MY Bharat. The cycling drive is conducted simultaneously across all States and Union Territories, including at SAI Regional Centres, National Centres of Excellence, SAI Training Centres, Khelo India State Centres of Excellence, and Khelo India Centres. Over 6000 NAMO Fit India clubs also organize the cycling initiative nationwide every week.
