Mexico's S&P/BMV IPC index closed down 0.41%, driven by losses in Industrials, Consumer Goods & Services, and Consumer Staples sectors.
Top gainers were Grupo Televisa (+3.08% to 10.38), Grupo Carso (+2.96% to 148.66) and GCC (+2.12% to 196.52) in late trade.
Biggest losers included Industrias Peñoles (-5.14% to 950), Megacable (-3.07% to 59.75) and Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste (-2.70% to 602.48).
Commodity prices fell, with gold at $4,771/oz, crude oil at $95.63/barrel, Brent at $94.33/barrel; MXN strengthened against USD and EUR.
