Mexico's S&P/BMV IPC closed up 1.06% driven by gains in Industrials, Consumer Goods & Services, and Consumer Staples sectors.
Top gainers were Qualitas Controladora (+8.37% to 179.11), Industrias Peñoles (+5.37% to 1,008.03) and Vuela (VOLARA) (+4.54% to 14.05).
Decliners included Gentera (-2.38% to 46.25), Banco del Bajío (-1.29% to 57.19) and Vesta (-1.20% to 61.96); 191 advancers vs 60 decliners.
Gold futures rose 0.85% to $4,849.40/oz, while May crude fell 9.63% to $85.57/bbl; USD/MXN at 17.32.
