The Media Accreditation Portal for the 19th Mumbai International Film Festival (MIFF 2026) will reopen for a limited period from June 10 to June 11, 2026, to accommodate last-minute registration requests from journalists, media professionals, and film critics. This final opportunity follows overwhelming requests received from across the country, with no further extensions granted after June 11, 2026.

The festival, scheduled from June 15 to 21, 2026, at the NFDC premises on Gopalrao Deshmukh Marg in Mumbai, will feature screenings, discussions, masterclasses, industry interactions, and cultural exchanges. Media representatives who register will gain access to festival screenings, press interactions, exclusive media events, and networking opportunities.

MIFF 2026, recognized as South Asia's oldest and largest film festival dedicated to non-feature cinema, has received 1,459 film entries from 47 countries including India. The festival showcases films in more than 42 Indian languages and over 30 languages from outside India, featuring documentaries, short fiction films, animations, debut director films, and student films. The event also includes the 2nd edition of Doc Bazaar, masterclasses, and an Open Forum by IDPA.

Organized under the aegis of the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, the festival was established in 1990 and serves as an international platform attracting filmmakers, artists, and cinema enthusiasts worldwide.
