Fisheries Ministry approved ₹28,898 crore in projects across 2020-25, including ₹21,274 crore under PMMSY and ₹7,623 crore under FIDF.
Fish production increased 40% from 141.64 lakh tonnes (2019-20) to 197.75 lakh tonnes (2024-25), exports rose 34% to ₹62,408 crore.
