The Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs launched an upgraded version of the National Youth Parliament Scheme web portal, designated as NYPS 2.0, on September 11, 2024. Unlike the previous version limited to students of recognized institutions, NYPS 2.0 expands access to all educational institutions, groups, and citizens across the country.

Since its launch through July 21, 2026, the portal has recorded substantial participation across three modes: institutional, group, and individual. Institutional participation reached 4,939 registrations with 1,611 Youth Parliament sessions organized, involving 54,518 students. Group participation accounted for 732 registrations with 26 events organized, engaging 982 citizens/students. Individual participation showed the highest engagement with 48,291 citizens/students participating directly through the portal. The combined total participation across all modes reached 103,791 citizens/students.

The Ministry has also made details of 42 onboarded Consultative Committees for various Ministries available on the Consultative Committee Management System (CCMS) portal at https://oams.nic.in/ccms/index.aspx. To strengthen outreach, the Ministry has written to all State Governments, Union Territory Administrations, State/UT Legislatures, and educational boards including CBSE and CISCE. A publicity video tutorial is periodically broadcast on Sansad TV, and the CCMS portal has been continuously upgraded digitally to meet stakeholder requirements.
