Ministry of Ports Outlines Green Port Initiatives and 2030 Targets

The Ministry of Ports has implemented the Green Tug Transition Programme and port electrification to develop green ports and reduce emissions.
Three major ports have been designated as Green Hydrogen Hubs, and 180 port development projects were approved in the last two years.
The Ministry has set 2030 targets including 60% renewable energy, 50% port equipment electrification, and 30% CO2 reduction per cargo ton.
