The Ministry of Women and Child Development, including all Autonomous/Statutory Bodies under its administrative control, has initiated Special Campaign 6.0 focused on improving Swachhata and disposal of pending references. The campaign runs from October 2nd to October 31st, 2026, following the pattern of similar campaigns conducted in the preceding five years.

As part of the campaign's best practices implementation, the Ministry conducted an Artificial Intelligence Workshop on October 17, 2026, for senior officers at the Under Secretary level and above. The workshop was delivered by the National e-Governance Division and was designed as a hands-on program with approximately 70% of the sessions devoted to practical use of AI tools. A total of 42 participants attended, including the Secretary, Additional Secretaries, Joint Secretaries, and other senior officers of the Ministry.

The workshop curriculum covered four main topics: Introduction to AI, Prompt Engineering and AI Tools for Office Productivity, Hands-on with AI Tools, and Ethical and Responsible use of AI and Sovereign AI. This initiative represents the Ministry's effort to build AI capacity among its senior leadership as part of its broader administrative improvement campaign.
