The National Institute of Naturopathy (NIN), an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, has invited applications for admission to the Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS) programme for the academic session 2026-27. The programme is offered at the institute's flagship Nisarg Gram campus in Yewalewadi, Pune, which spans 25 acres and includes a 250-bedded Naturopathy Hospital, academic and research facilities, separate residential hostels for boys and girls, yoga halls, and modern Naturopathy treatment infrastructure.
The 5½-year full-time residential BNYS programme consists of 4½ years of academic and clinical training followed by one year of Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI). A total of 100 seats are available for the academic session. Eligibility requires candidates to have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) and English from a recognized board, along with meeting medical fitness requirements. Preference will be given to candidates who have appeared for NEET-UG 2026, with any remaining vacant seats to be filled based on 10+2 PCB merit following prescribed admission procedure and reservation norms.
The online application process commenced on September 29, 2026 and will close on October 19, 2026 at 5:00 PM. The provisional merit list is scheduled for release on October 27, 2026, followed by the final merit/waiting list on October 30, 2026. Counseling sessions are scheduled for November 12-13 and November 18-19, 2026, with classes set to commence from November 30, 2026.
NIN is the first Central Government institution to offer the BNYS programme in affiliation with a Central University, Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University, New Delhi.
