NHAI is building a 12 km greenfield four-lane bypass in Uttarakhand at Rs 716 crore cost with 44% completion.
The project will divert non-destined traffic from Dehradun city core to industrial areas and improve inter-state connectivity.
Environmental measures include 30m road width, 350m animal overpass, and wildlife protection structures to minimize ecological impact.
Scheduled completion by April 2027 aims to reduce traffic congestion and support tourism growth in the region.
