The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has finalized a tentative list of National Highway stretches for monetization under Toll-Operate-Transfer (TOT) and Infrastructure Investment Trust (InvIT) modes for the Financial Year 2026–27.
The list does not include assets proposed to be monetized through Raajmarg Infra Investment Trust (RIIT) for FY 2026–27.
The total combined length of the identified National Highway assets is 1692.5 km.
The projects comprise stretches across nine states: Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Maharashtra.
The list contains 17 projects.
The initiative is part of the Government of India’s asset monetization strategy.
The objective is to mobilize capital for further infrastructure development and promote private sector participation.
The monetization will use transparent and structured mechanisms under TOT and InvIT frameworks.
The list has been hosted on the NHAI website at: https://nhai.gov.in/nhai/sites/default/files/mixfile/TentativelistofassetsformonetizationinFY-2026-27.pdf
