Indian equities closed lower with Nifty 50 down 0.02% and Sensex falling 0.18% on Thursday.
Grasim Industries surged 6.43% to 3,162, hitting an all‑time high, while Apollo Hospitals rose 3.11% to 8,330.
Bajaj Finance, Hindustan Unilever and Tech Mahindra led declines, dropping 1.64%, 1.40% and 1.32% respectively.
India VIX fell 3.38% to 17.82; crude oil rose to $99.97/barrel and USD/INR slipped to 96.35.
