Nifty 50 Slides 1.49% to 1-Month Low

Indian equities closed lower, Nifty 50 fell 1.49% to a new one‑month low, Sensex down 1.70%.
Consumer Durables, Real Estate and Power sectors led declines while Tata Consumer Products surged 7.97% to an all‑time high of 1,270.
State Bank of India dropped 4.31% to 975.40 and Titan fell 6.86% to 4,199.90, making them the day's biggest losers.
India VIX jumped 9.93% to 18.51, gold fell 1.21% to $4,673.26, while crude oil rose above $97 per barrel.
