Indian equities closed higher, Nifty 50 up 0.17% and Sensex up 0.16% on Wednesday.
Gains driven by Power, Capital Goods and Oil & Gas sectors, with Hindalco (+3.5%), Reliance (+2.83%) and Bajaj Auto (+2.52%) leading.
Decliners included Bharat Electronics (-2.26%), Tech Mahindra (-1.92%) and Eternal (-1.48%); India VIX fell to 18.31.
Commodity prices slipped, crude oil fell to $102.11/barrel, Brent to $108.97, gold to $4,491.50/oz; USD/INR at 96.72.
