Odisha Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati interacted with a Gujarat student delegation participating in Yuva Sangam Phase VI on May 27, 2026. The delegation from Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad began their educational and cultural exchange visit to Odisha on May 22, 2026, hosted by National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela. During the interaction, the Governor emphasized the role of youth in nation-building, cultural understanding, and strengthening national integration.

The student delegation explored Odisha's cultural and educational landscape, visiting iconic sites including Konark Sun Temple and Maa Samaleswari Temple. They engaged with local artisans to learn about textile traditions and interacted with the Munda tribal community through cultural exchanges. The program included a session by Central Institute of Indian Languages focusing on India's linguistic diversity.

Industrial and infrastructure visits included the National Institute of Technology Rourkela FTBI Lab, Rourkela Steel Plant, Hirakud Dam, and Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium. Environmental activities included participation in the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign involving tree planting and learning about organic farming practices.
