A student delegation from Odisha visited Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat on June 4, 2026, at Lok Bhavan in Gandhinagar as part of Yuva Sangam Phase VI. This initiative is organized by the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat programme. The delegation was led by the National Institute of Technology Rourkela and hosted by the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, representing one of 22 educational exchange tours nationwide.

During the interaction, Governor Devvrat emphasized the pivotal role of youth in building a Viksit Bharat by 2047, highlighting the importance of value-based education, civic responsibility, innovation, and active youth participation in nation-building. The Yuva Sangam programme aims to foster cultural exchange, experiential learning, and national integration by enabling youth to experience diverse cultural, educational, and developmental landscapes across different States and Union Territories.
