Peloton, Universal Technical Added to S&P SmallCap

Peloton Interactive shares jumped 5.4% in after‑hours trading after S&P Dow Jones announced its inclusion in the S&P SmallCap 600.
Universal Technical Institute rose 3.1% after being named for the same index, replacing Veris Residential (VRE).
Peloton will replace Enviri Corp (NVRI), which is spinning off assets before Veolia Environment acquires the remaining parent.
Both new constituents belong to Consumer Discretionary, while the exiting firms represent Real Estate and Industrials sectors.
