Overview
Plast Pack 2026, billed as Central India’s biggest industrial expo, is slated to run for four days from November 27 to 30 at the Labh Ganga Exhibition Centre in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Organisers project more than 200,000 visitors, a substantial rise from the 75,000 trade visitors recorded at Plast Pack 2025.
Event Details
The expo will bring together leading national and international firms from the plastics, packaging and recycling sectors under one roof. It is being organised with the support of the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC) and aligns with Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav’s vision of elevating industrial development and investment in the state.
Participation and Exhibitors
More than 450 exhibitors and over 500 stalls are expected. Multinational companies and Navratna public‑sector undertakings such as Hindustan Petroleum, Bharat Petroleum and GAIL have confirmed participation, underscoring the event’s scale and relevance to the broader industrial ecosystem.
Sustainable Technology Focus
The 2026 edition places a strong emphasis on sustainable and green packaging. Organisers highlight that the exhibition will showcase 100% compostable plastics, water‑soluble films and state‑of‑the‑art AI‑based recycling plants, reflecting a shift toward environmentally friendly solutions.
Investment and Economic Impact
The expo is positioned to open significant new avenues for investment in Madhya Pradesh, leveraging the state’s industry‑friendly policies, streamlined land‑allocation processes and strategic geographic location. It is expected to serve as a major platform for MSMEs, entrepreneurs and new investors, fostering technology adoption, business expansion and employment generation.
Leadership
Sachin Bansal, President of the Indian Plast Pack Forum, is leading the initiative. With more than two decades of involvement in sector development and MSME growth, Bansal believes Plast Pack 2026 will create new dimensions for investment and industrial growth in the region.
Additional Information
A special job fair for young professionals and sessions aimed at promoting startups will be part of the programme, further enhancing the expo’s role in talent development and entrepreneurship.
