Russia imposed a ban on exports of aviation fuel (JET A‑1) effective until 30 November 2026.
Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak instructed the Energy Ministry, Transport Ministry, and the aviation regulator Rosaviatsiya to examine the feasibility of importing aviation fuel.
The directive seeks to determine whether domestic refuelling stations can accept JET A‑1 aviation fuel of both domestic and imported origin.
